In 1996, Bernard André, mayor of Bauduen, wanted to revive the olive groves, most of which had been abandoned since the terrible frost of 1956. The aim was to reduce the risk of fire and to improve the environment.

From the car park opposite the village, there is a remarkable view of Bauduen and the olive grove.
